About
My name is Jason Stone and I've lived in North Carolina all my life, more specifically the Sandhills region. I've always been fascinated by history and ghosts(Who ISN'T interested in ghosts). On one trip to the outer banks not terribly long ago, I stumbled across a book called "The Flaming Ship of Ocracoke & Other Tales of the Outer Banks" by Charles Whedbee. I read it from cover to cover on the way home. Quite simply, I was hooked. I bought Mr. Whedbee's other books and read them all as fast as I possibly could.
What you'll find on this site is some of the greatest ghost stories ever told. Some are true, some are false and some are... in between. And if you're not careful, you may learn a little something as well. ;) These stories are very old and have been handed down for generations so some of the details may be... exaggerated. Although I try to keep the information as clean as I received it, I can not verify everything.
What you won't find here are scientific investigations of any kind. I own no equipment to do such work, nor do I possess the desire to be a 'ghost buster'. I'm in this for a good time, nothing more, nothing less. So you won't find hi tech acronyms or big words here. I leave that other people and wish them well.
Well, that's about it. I hope you find the site interesting and stay around. I'll be adding more content when I can as well as pictures whenever I can get to where creepiness reigns supreme. if you like the site or have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to shoot me an email.
